Shipping Options and Cost

 
1. Local delivery Regions: 

→ Delivery Days: Monday and Wednesday

→ Delivery Regions: Bergstrasse, Darmstadt, Heidelberg, Mannheim, Walldorf and Wiesloch

→ Cutoff time to place orders is 8AM. Orders placed after 8AM will be processed next delivery day.

→ All Frozen and Fresh items also will be delivered to local regions.

→ Below regions are served in person delivery by Indira Indian Foods staff.

2. Free self pick up from store or designated pick up points and Home deliveries

→ Free self pick up by customer from store or designated pick up points and Home deliveries

→ You can pre-order your grocery and pick up from store during store opening hours Monday to Saturday 10 AM to 6:30 PM

→ You can also self pick from designated pick up points and pick up time with Prior Agreement Only

→ Minimum cart value is 10€, Cart value above 39€ are elligible for Free home delivery, Cart value below 39€ are charged 3,90€ for home delivery

→ Products with Home Delivery option will be delivered till your house or Apartments and until your Main door Callling bell. People living in apartments need to collect the delivery from Ground floor. Please Cooperate with us in this aspect.

 

3. Shipment with DPD or DHL – This is the standard delivery option available for customers all over Germany (Excludes some Islands).


Restricted Items:

Some of Frozen and Fragile products will not be shipped via DPD or DHL courier as they will get spoiled during transit due to the nature of the products.

 

Shipping costs

→ DPD Standard: 2 to 4 Business day Orders €39.00 and up = FREE
 → DPD or DHL Standard: 2 to 4 Business days Orders €10.00–€39.00 = €3.90
 → DHL Standard Medium Pack < 9kg (2to 3 Business days) = €4.90
 → DHL Standard Large Pack (9kg - 28kg) 2 to 3 Business days=€ 9.90
→ DPD Express: 1 to 2 Business days Orders €10.00 and up = €8.90

 

Conditions

→ Shipping will be made within Germany only
→ Delivery Costs are paid by us if the cart value is above 39€ and the weight of the box not exceeding 30kg
→ For cart value below 39€ DPD courier costs 5€ and box weight below 30 Kgs (within Germany).
→ The packages are sent from Monday to Thursday only
→ Orders are usually delivered next day. On Average it takes 1 to 3 working days for the order to reach the customer after dispatch.
→ Only 30 kgs can be sent in one box according to shipment regulations.
→ If the package returns back to us because the address or name on the doorbell was wrong, or the recipient is unknown, shipping may be charged (per box) for re-sending the package.
→ Packages that gets returned to us (for any reason) cost 5 €. This cost may or may not be transferred to the customer depending on the circumstances and at the company’s discretion.

 

If an order that has already been shipped, gets returned to us because the customer does not want it anymore and needs to be cancelled, shipment cost will be deducted from the order amount at the time of refund. Price of products that are damaged in this process will not be returned.

 

Help and Tips with Delivery

Please check your shipping address before order confirmation. We ship to the delivery address that you entered when ordering.

 30Kg is the maximum weight allowed per box by the shipping company in Germany. In case your order is more than 30Kgs please wait for the second box.You can track the shipping status in your account

 In case of delay, please track the order yourself using the tracking link sent by the shipment companies.

 

Please always check the tracking email and check the latest status again.

 In rare cases, the box can get damaged during transit by DPD or DHL. In this case, the DPD or DHL usually repacks the box at their center and delivers. This can cause an additional delay of 2-4 days.

 Fresh vegetables are delivered to us on Monday and Thursday. Orders with fresh items can sometimes be delayed in case we don’t receive the supply in sufficient quantity or on time. In some cases, the money might also be refunded and the order dispatched. Please do not order fresh vegetables and fruit to countries other than Germany because the shipping time will probably cause the items to spoil.

 Please carry your passport or personal id proof if you need to collect the package from a DPD or DHL pack station.
